Happy Easter, a little late perhaps, but I still wanted to share with you our Easter fun. This year I was just too busy to think about sewing Easter dresses. This was the first year that I had bought Easter dresses and I really wanted to go with something simple and classic.
We have several adorable children’s boutiques where we live, so I headed down to my favorite one and found these classic white eyelet dress on sale! How perfect is that. But of course the dress alone wasn’t enough. I decided in true southern style to go with the whole she-bang. Big pink bow, crocheted white cardigans, and patent pink bow sandals. I just about couldn’t stand how sweet my girls looked in their Easter outfits.
I took tons of photos since I have been working on my photography lately and really wanted to capture some great images. I am pretty happy that I got some cute ones, but can I just tell you how hard it was to keep up with them while they were hunting eggs! That’s why you don’t see too many of those. Also it was pretty difficult to get them to stand together and pose like I had imagined in my mind before taking pictures, but I was able to get a few. Patience and LOTS of pictures is definitely key when photographing kids.
I think this might be my favorite one!
It was such a lovely Easter and it was so fun watching the girls discover all of its joy. I felt truly blessed and just wanted to share.
