DIY Popsicle Stick Planter Tutorial - Easy Project to Make With Kids

My kids love making anything with popsicle sticks.  Who's don't?!  And I kind of have a thing for succulents.   So I came up with this DIY Popsicle Stick Planter Tutorial that is fun and easy enough for kids to make, and functional enough to hold a plant, which also happens to make a great gift for Mother's Day!

The kids and I headed Michaels, which might possibly be the easiest place to lose them now that they have discovered all the art supplies there.  Okay, not really lose them but they definitely find quite a few rabbit holes art projects to bring home even during a short trip.  Hmmm, that sounds vaguely familiar.  Haha.  Ok, I can't leave Michael's without bringing home at least five new projects that I found as well.

We found all the supplies there that we needed, and obviously a few that we didn't need, including some Color Burst Sharpies.  Did I mention that I have a slight obsession with Sharpies?  And the colors in the Color Burst pack!  I had to have them all....of course.  I chose some really fun spring shades of pinks and blues and greens that I thought would be perfect for Mother's Day.

You can find all of these supplies at Michaels

    2. Sharpies Color Burst Markers
    3. White Acrylic Paint
